The location was convenient and brilliant, not too far from Martin Luther King. The property was set in a safe area.

The location in the centre of San Francisco was excellent. The hotel was very good value for such a good position.
No bath in queen bedroom. maids did not make up our bed when they cleaned.

New-fashioned king room with double beds. Fantastic very central location, just next door to the subway station and the cable car turnaround, the piers and all the excitement along the water and window opened up into a central atrium. Quick check-in, late check-out.

Outstanding customer service at the front desk. A few long-time employees there that really focus on getting to know you. Professional, courteous, and friendly. The location was outstanding and close to everything downtown. Hallways are nicely decorated.
Odorous rooms- carpet. Older furniture. Bedding with plastic over the top.

The location was excellent. Staff were accommodating. Convenient to transportation options, good restaurants, shopping, and the act Theatre.
The Standard queen room we were in was very small, with a bathroom that needs upgrading - particularly the shower which took a long time for hot water access. It was tolerable for a few days, but would suggest this upgrade.

Great location and for 200 bucks not bad for the area. Booked a regular room and they put us in a suite. Hotel is old but our room had been completely upgraded inside. Very happy with this Hotel.

Great location, room exceeded expectations and loved the happy hour. Staff where excellent at all times
The Breakfast is rubbish. The danish/muffins are completely unsuitable for starting the day. Ceral, Yoghurt, or just bagels would be infinetly better. Coofee and juices are fine. Suggest Fruit or Plain bagels, toasted or fresh with Cream Cheese and jams. Maybe some ceral if possible

This was a terrific location. Your staff was very very friendly. They were able to book me on nice tours to monterrey and to yosemite.
I think air conditioning units should be installed. The windows can't be opened so it gets warm. I had a portable unit in my room and it worked but it was extremely loud and it leaked all over the floor no matter how many times I told the staff. Also, I think the breakfast should have been more than microscopic muffins.

The location can't be beat, and I wasn't bothered by the "city sounds", like some other commentors...on the contrary, it was an added perk to hear the trolly clanging and the lone saxiphonist when I opened the window. The first room was a bit small but they moved me to 609 upon request. the Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nicely stocked with soaps and shampoos.
One (of two) window didn't open, but didn't need it since they brought up a fan. This probably was one of the hottest days, and it really wasn't bad at all. The front desk staff was professional, but not all that outgoing,

Location at Powell and market was good.
Our room was small. The bathroom was filthly. Tere was mildew on the walls, in the shower, on the floor. the carpet was stained and torn. There was no air conditioning and it was quite warm. We have allergies, so opeining windows is not an option for us. This was a $49 room at best. The breakfast was a complete joke. It was a couple of muffins and coffee. Stay somehwere else!

Great location, just steps from the cable car turnaround and close to the IMAX theater. The hotel was clean, and the smart TV was a nice touch. The motion sensor thermostat was frustrating, as it often left me waking up sweaty at night. The bathroom door didn't latch, quite awkward. Be mindful of the surrounding area, as it can feel unsafe at times.
